The Rock Provided Support To Bray Wyatt's Grieving Family

Dwayne Johnson The Rock said that when a study indicated 46% of Americans would support his campaign, several political parties contacted him last year asking if he would run for US president, according to The Guardian.

During his debut appearance as the first guest on Trevor Noah’s brand-new Spotify podcast, “What Now?,” the actor and former WWE wrestler Dwayne Johnson revealed that he was contacted by “the parties” to inquire about a potential run for office at the end of 2022, following a 2021 survey of 30,000 American people.

Dwayne Johnson reportedly told The Guardian, “I was really moved by that interesting poll that happened.” “I was really blown away and I was really honored,” he continued. I’ll tell you a little bit about it: around the end of 2022, I received a visit from the parties inquiring as to whether or not I planned to run.
He added, “It came out of the blue, and it was a big deal.”

“They brought up that poll and their own in-depth research that would prove that should I ever go down that road [I’d be a real contender],” Dwayne Johnson continued. “It was one after the other.” Since that has never been my intention, it was all quite weird. Being in politics has never been my ambition. In actuality, I detest a lot of things about politics, as The Guardian states.

Dwayne Johnson, a self-described “centrist” and “political independent” who openly supported US President Joe Biden’s 2020 candidacy, has previously expressed his interest in running in the past. “It is undeniable that the idea of becoming governor or president is appealing,” he stated in an interview with GQ in 2016. He stated to Variety a year later that a 2024 presidential run was a “realistic consideration.”

Dwayne Johnson plays his future self in the sitcom Young Rock, which centers around him running for US president in 2032. Each episode is structured around Johnson’s interviews about events from his early life.

“I don’t think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club – but if it ever happens it’d be my honor to serve you, the people,” The Rock wrote on Instagram in response to the aforementioned poll in 2021.

However, he seemed to have a changed his mind last year, telling CBS Mornings that it was “off the table” due to his responsibilities as a father of his three children, who are now 22 years old, seven, and five.

“Being a father is the most important thing to me, number one, especially at this crucial juncture in my daughters’ lives,” he declared.

Dwayne Johnson stated on Noah’s show that he “don’t want that for my little ones now” because his work as a wrestler frequently required him to be away from his oldest daughter, Simone. “Yeah, but the other ones have done it like this,” was the final response he received from the parties during one of his main conversations with them, he continued.

According to The Guardian, Dwayne Johnson told Noah, “If that’s ultimately what the people would want, then of course I would consider it,” but he didn’t rule out running in the future.
