A dramatic shift in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s career trajectory left the wrestling world in awe. Wearing a silk shirt that harked back to his legendary “Hollywood Rock” persona, The Rock sided with The Bloodline, a group headed by Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, on the most recent episode of SmackDown.

The Rock made a really stunning heel turn. He chastised the crowd in Salt Lake City, calling them stupid and inbred. The big surprise, though, was when he declared his loyalty to The Bloodline. Now standing shoulder to shoulder with Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and the ever-loyal Paul Heyman is the Great One, renowned for his tremendous charisma.

But Cody Rhodes discovered that he was in The Rock’s sights. Rhodes didn’t merit a second chance to challenge Reigns for the title, according to The Rock. The demands of the WWE Universe for a fantastic main event at WrestleMania have been silenced. The Rock promised not to let Rhodes walk away from WrestleMania empty-handed. The Bloodline tale is just getting started, even though Rhodes’ story may be finished. The collision course between The Rock, The Bloodline, and Cody Rhodes on the path to WrestleMania40.
