the rock wrestlemania 40

The storyline involving Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, who are scheduled to participate in the main event at WrestleMania 40, has been drastically altered by The Rock’s eagerly awaited return to the WWE. Although the Rock first shook hands with Rhodes on SmackDown as an ally, he later faced his cousin, the Undisputed Universal champion, face to face.

Fans have been requesting for months that WWE schedule a match between the two titans, Roman and the Rock, in what the Hollywood star himself called the “biggest WrestleMania event of all time.”

Before the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff news conference, the Brahma Bull made it clear to E! News that he had major intentions for the main event.

In the present, Reigns is scheduled to compete against Cody Rhodes in the Philadelphia main event; however, it is still unclear if The Rock will be present. Although a lot of fans are hoping for a Tag Team battle between Roman Reigns and Chris Rock versus Seth Rollins and Rhodes, WWE has not yet confirmed anything.

The Rock’s return and participation at the main event is almost confirmed because they released a teaser for WrestleMania 40, which featured all four superstars. It is unclear, though, if the Rock will continue to be Reigns’ ally or a covert opponent.

Recall that the Rock is not only a symbol of the worldwide superstar he is, but he is also one of the most powerful figures in the entertainment industry, especially in light of his appointment to the TKO Group Board of Directors. Roman’s championship reign may go much longer if he had such a powerful ally on his side, but Rhodes would encounter a major obstacle because the Rock himself poses a threat in addition to Reigns, Solo Sikao, and the other members of the Bloodline.
